The CW network has announced that it will bring Smallvilleback for a 10th season, but unfortunately Lex Luthor is not coming along for the ride.

The long-running reboot of the Superman story, starring Tom Welling as Clark Kent and Erica Durance as Lois Lane, has enjoyed a ratings revival after being moved to Friday nights in the fall and will stretch it’s run into season ten with an unexpected rush of momentum. Smallville is currently the CW’s best performing show for male audiences and has dramatically improved their Friday night ratings.

Rumors were flying that Michael Rosenbaum would also return to the series and reprise his iconic role as Clark Kent’s greatest enemy Lex Luthor, but Rosenbaum has sadly debunked that report through Twitter.

Smallville revolves around the adventures of Clark Kent, a reporter for the Daily Planet newspaper and also a hero currently called The Blur, as he journeys from small town Kansas farm boy to Metropolis superhero. Clark Kent’s allies include the Green Arrow, who is played by Justin Hartley, and his enemies include the villainous Zod played by Callum Blue.

The current cast of Smallville also includes Allison Mack, whose Chloe Sullivan was created just for Smallville and was not originally a DC comic character. Allison Mack is the only series regular from Smallville season one still on the show besides Welling. This season Chloe’s role as Watchtower for the Justice League has given her a place in the traditional Superman mythos for the first time.

During the current season it’s been revealed that Lex Luthor is still alive and was not killed by the Green Arrow as previously thought. Michael Rosenbaum played Lex through season seven and fans had hoped he would make a return.

Smallville premiered on the CW back in 2001. Tom Welling has now portrayed Clark Kent longer than any other actor, except Christopher Reeve who played him over a long span in the Superman movies.

Smallville was developed for television by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar based on the popular DC Comics characters. Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson serve as the current executive producers.

we are here to bring you latest & most updated tv series. don’t miss your chance to watch Smallville Season 10 live @ Smallville Season 10 Online.

If you love action flicks, but you’re getting tired of all this whiz bang, shaky camera stuff where you can’t tell what the heck is going on, Exiled may be the antidote you’re looking for. This makes any worthwhile action movie downloads list because the action isn’t so darned all over the place. Everything is clear and coherent, you can tell what’s going on. You rarely see action this… Graceful.

We follow a gangster who betrayed his boss years ago, and his since gotten married and had a baby. The boss sends a couple of hitmen to take him out, while at the same time, two other former members of the gang show up to protect him. This is where the movie begins.

There’s a warmth and sweetness to what happens. Where most gangster movies are defined by that cold, impersonal “Just Business” approach to violence, here, none of the characters really want to shoot at each other, they’ve been friends since they were young, and they seem upset that it’s come to this.

This movie comes from Johnnie To, the legendary Hong Kong director who came up around the same time as John Woo and Ringo Lam, in the Heroic Bloodshed era. Where those movies were driven by anger at the Chinese takeover of Hong Kong, Exiled was made after the takeover, when it was shown that things hadn’t changed quite as much as the Hong Kong people were expecting.

The film really feels like a dream, with slow motion shootouts taking several minutes while only carrying about thirty seconds of action were they to be shot in real time. One incredible sequence has a character throwing an empty drink can into the air, and the shootout takes place over several minutes as the can falls to the floor in slow motion just seconds after the final bullet is fired.

The action is clear and coherent, the story isn’t always so clear. This actually helps the film’s dreamlike feel, so if you just watch it for the characters and for the action, the weird, twisty-turny story won’t infringe upon your enjoyment of the film and what it really does have to offer the viewer.

The Heroic Bloodshed era of Hong Kong action flicks was certainly an incredible time for film lovers. Hard Boiled and City on Fire defined the genre, being angry, explosive films, showing independent characters taking on the masses as a symbol of Hong Kong independence against Chinese communism. Lam and Woo went to Hollywood, and you could argue the qualities of their American films. Johnnie To stayed behind and turned the genre into something entirely different.

Exiled is a rare action film, and certainly one to see if you want something a little different than the usual shaky-cam shootout flick. It’s really a refreshing breath of fresh air if you’re sick and tired of not being able to tell who’s shooting who and how the heck that guy got on the roof. Definitely a change of pace.

That’s why the movie speaks to you the way that it does. Download Movie Music Some guitar players think it will impress others if they say, “I am a self taught guitar player” Together, they set up a rival gambling operation in Chicago under the names of Shaw and Kelley.

On January 31, 2000, the historic Mapes Hotel in Reno was imploded by 75 pounds of explosives tucked into the art-deco structures support columns. The destruction of the Mapes put an end to years of efforts to preserve the building via lawsuits, redevelopment proposals, and grass roots action. The National Trust for Historic Preservation took up the cause of the Mapes, and challenged the destruction in a suit that eventually reached the Nevada Supreme Court.

While the logic and necessity of demolishing the Mapes is very questionable, one thing that is certain is that the hotel was an important part of Northern Nevada history. The Mapes opened in’47 and with it ushered in a new era for casino gambling and the state of Nevada. Despite some historical revisionism that suggests that the modern era began in Las Vegas with Bugsy Siegel’s famed Flamingo, the Mapes was actually the first building in America to have a hotel, casino and live entertainment under the same roof. The Mapes attracted countless celebrities who’d make it their home when business brought them to Northern Nevada–this included movie stars like Clark Gable, TV stars like the cast of ‘Bonanza’ and political power brokers like infamous anti-Communist crusader Joseph McCarthy.

During the ‘Rat Pack’ era of the 50’s and 60’s it became along with the Cal-Neva Lodge in Lake Tahoe the place to be seen in Northern Nevada. The 11th floor, window walled Sky Room Lounge hosted performances by a roster of entertainment legends including Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Dean Martin, Louis Prima, Keely Smith, Milton Berle and Mae West. Downtown Reno struggled during the’60’s and 70’s but the Mapes continued to prosper. The hotel finally closed in’82, due to financial problems experienced by the Mapes Family brought about by their other Northern Nevada casino holdings.

Reno has yet to experience the sort of growth that has been seen in Southern Nevada, and for that reason the destruction of the Mapes is more open to debate than the hotel demolitions to the south. Even the demolition of The Sands–perhaps the most historically significant casino in the state–is hard to argue against given the inability of such a small property to compete in the current Las Vegas marketplace and in light of the value of the mid-strip real estate.

This is not the case in Reno, where land and buildings for development in virtually every casino area are abundant. The official reason that the Mapes had to come down was that the city needed the land–which sits along the banks of the Truckee River–to expand its riverside district of art galleries, restaurants and shops. The revitalization of downtown Reno is definitely needed and a legitimate goal, but at the same time it is hard to think that the Mapes was a barrier to this. Indeed, a number of proposals for redevelopment including office space, artists lofts and upscale senior housing would have probably served to enhance the livability of the downtown area. For whatever reason, the City Redevelopment Authority wouldn’t approve any of the proposals and the fate of the Mapes was sealed.

The role of the City Redevelopment Authority was questioned throughout the process. Overlooking the Truckee River, the hotel was on a prime location between the downtown casino area and the riverfront district. Back in’96, the city of Reno purchased the hotel and began entertaining proposals for renovation and redevelopment. A number of sound financial proposals were presented that would preserve the integrity of the structure including condominiums, office space, and perhaps most viable, upscale senior apartments. Oddly, all of these proposals were turned down by the citys Redevelopment Agency which eventually led to the demolition of the structure.

Following the 2000 demolition, the lot remained vacant for over a year until a temporary ice skating rink was hastily constructed the following winter. The property has been improved and the rink is now permanent which, while not in itself a bad use for the land, further calls into question the efficacy of demolishing the structure. It would appear that the city had no clue what to do with the land, but for whatever reason wanted the building brought down. This has led to all sorts of conspiracy theories, from the City Development Agency having financial incentive to raze the hotel to rumors that the building was haunted and was destroyed to keep the Reno area from being overrun with paranormal activity. Whatever the reason for the decision, the city of Reno has lost a beautiful art deco treasure that played a significant part in the economic growth of the state.

If you want to find the best digital camera that will suit you, then there are many factors you need to consider. The cost and your intentions with the camera will affect your decision making. Features and options, resolution, weight, size, and level of control are also things you need to consider. Have a look at these factors one by one.

The Camera’s Weight and Size

Each person has their own preference when it comes to weight and size. If you’re a beginner, then the best choice for you would be the simplest camera because it’s also the lightest. The technology of these cameras are limited to point and click. Cameras with less features are usually the lightest. Because these simple to use cameras are lightweight, they can easily fit into your purse or pocket. A more complex digital camera is the SLR and is usually the choice of the more serious photographer. These cameras offer more options and accessories and can even weigh to up to a pound.

Resolution and Detail

The detail of the image for printing quality is related to the resolution. The detail of the picture depends on the resolution, which means the higher the resolution the better the detail will be. You need at least 5-6 mega pixels if you want to print great standard photos. But when printing oversized pictures, it’s better to choose a camera with higher resolution.

Find out the Level of Control

Deciding on the level of control you want in the picture taking process is important if you want to find the best digital camera for you. Aside from the point and click, other digital cameras have total control over picture taking and even allows you to control settings such as speed, focus, and aperture.

Determine the Features and Options

Burst shooting for fast shots, ability to add audio to one’s images, macro capability for close-up photography, and video capability are just some of the features and options you also need to consider when determining the best digital camera for you.

Bottom line is, ask yourself first what you’ll be using the camera for so that you’ll have a better idea on what digital camera to choose.

The best printable birthday invitations and make your own invitations online.

Live bands, wedding bands are essentially the same thing as they both play music to an audience. When searching for a band on the internet it may be a good idea to be a bit more specific in your description as to your requirements as there are many types of bands that will suit many different types of occasion.

Since this is your wedding and not the bands wedding, do not be shy about making song requests that may not be in their standard selection of choice. Good bands are generally happy to learn new material as this keeps them on their toes.

You can easily find a good bands wedding. Begin by using the search engines online such as Yahoo and Google. In order to get a wide variety of search results, type in the words, wedding band or bands wedding.

How do you know if the band is worth hiring? There are a few things that can help you make up your mind. For instance, does the band have an account with MySpace, FaceBook or do they have their own online website? If so, you can check out their songs, music and videos.

Also do they have a list of venues played at in the past so that you can obtain testimonials from them? Does their website say when and where their next gigs are? If so go to one of them that will give you a great indication of what to expect.

A good band is always willing and prepared to work with its clients. They are willing to tailor make the set to your liking even if it means learning a couple of new songs to please you. This is not a problem as good bands like learning new songs as it freshens up their set and keeps them enthused.

Choosing your wedding band is just as vital as choosing your wedding location. Therefore, before handing any money over for anything you need to check on a few more things. Find out if your location has a license for live music. This is essential since if they do not, your plans for a live band will not be feasible.

Find out from your choice of location if they can accommodate the band and their equipment on stage as well as in the parking lot, since there will be some heavy equipment to be loaded and unloaded with the bands wedding.

Planning an event? Please visit http://www.souldesire.co.uk, the popular live music, wedding and party band hire site. Finding great Function Band Hire will ensure you have a great day. They select them out in a hurry, simply choose one which sems acceptable for the event, is not too sappy or too extreme or dramatic, they usually merely rush it. Don’t try this! Stationary and Cards can say much more than the abnormal particular person might think. Regardless that the enterprise world is normally digital currently, printed media material still matters.

Roller Derby has been around for years and was a staple of the early days of television. It was similar to its better known counterpart, pro wrestling and was seen on many of the same low powered UHF stations in the same bad timeslots. It had a similar borderline sleazy group of promoters and businessman that was common in the regional territory era of pro wrestling. Roller derby didn’t have the success or popularity that pro wrestling did. There was a serious athletic component to be sure, but the dim witted storylines made pro wrestling look like Shakespeare. The sport does have its own history–most know that the LA T-Birds were the perennial champions of’70’s, and Ann Calvello and Ralphie Valladares had been in the sport forever and were considered legends–but it never really stuck in the public consciousness like the pre-Hulk Hogan era of pro wrestling.

New era roller derby reached a national audience through the A&E reality series Roller Girls. It featured a local, all-girl roller derby league in Austin, Texas and followed the lives of the players on and off the track. While the show was oddly engaging, it was the first clue that many had that such a league existed in the first place. A sport that was never taken seriously to begin with and that was really living on borrowed time since the’60’s before fading into the lowest level of obscurity had been rediscovered and embraced by an eclectic group of young women. They had kept the same essential format, thrown in a healthy dose of burlesque camp and Varga pin-up inspired glamour and made it into their own vibrant subculture. They changed some of the nomenclature and competitive format–in lieu of regularly scheduled games they renamed the competitions “bouts” a la MMA or boxing. The result was a compelling mixture of glamour, toughness and athleticism driven by a healthy dose of punk rock “do it yourself” mentality.

Today, roller derby is a full blown worldwide phenomenon. There are hundreds of local roller derby leagues not only in the United States, but Canada, Australia and Europe. Most of the local groups similarly play up the campy retro pin-up/hot rod iconography and everyone involved sure looks like they’re having a good time. Between teams there’s a vibe of good natured competitiveness and camaraderie.

The young women in roller derby have taken what was cast off TV time filler and revived it into their own distaff ‘action sport’. The community that has sprung up around it bears a striking resemblance to the skateboarding or snowboarding subculture. There’s one big difference–in contrast to more male dominated action sports the roller derby circa 2009 is just the opposite–a living, breathing matriarchal success story.

The new generation rollergirls also pay homage to their sports’ pioneers. Many of the individual group websites have sections devoted to the history of roller derby, and the late Ann Calvello–regarded as the Queen of the original Roller Derby–is revered as something of a patron saint. The Texas Rollergirl group featured in the A&E series has renamed their championship the Calvello Cup.

So, you need to know about tattoo after care because you decide to get a new tattoo!
Tattoo After Care is a post from: Buy Fine Art

So, you need to know about tattoo after care because you decide to get a new tattoo!

It might be your first time, or it may be your tenth time, but in every case, you should review your tattoo after care instructions prior to getting your new tattoo. You might wonder about the logic about going through the instructions before getting your new tattoo, but it is like baking a cake, you just don’t want to make any mistakes with these instructions because new tattoos are open wounds and susceptible to infection.

You must be attentive to your new tattoo, and keep it as clean as possible to ensure that it heals as cleanly as possible so you prevent infection and have the nicest looking tattoo possible.

While the healing stages of a tattoo will be as unique to each individual as there are people on this planet, the tattoo healing process does follow a general pattern. The specifics of each tattoo’s healing process is determined by the different skin type of the individual, the positioning of the tattoo on the body, an the techniques of the tattoo artist. These factors can all cause a variance in the healing process from person to person.

You will end up given aftercare instructions by your tattoo artist. These aftercare instructions differ from artist to artist. My recommendation to you is if uncertain about anything, always go back to your tattoo artist before seeking the assistance of a doctor. Your tattoo artist can have a look at your tattoo and tell how to proceed if their is a problem to correct any healing problems.

If your tattoo artist cannot help, they should send you for medical attention from a doctor. If they can’t, then of course, you must go yourself to make sure that your health is not at risk. Here’s your responsibility.

Many times doctors are unaware about tattoos and will prescribe unnecessary medications that may harm your tattoo’s healing process. Some doctors may even be biased against tattoos. That’s the reason I suggest that put forth the tattoo artist first if you feel there is a healing problem with your new tattoo. The artist works with tattoos day in and day out and knows the ultimate way to heal their work.

When you leave the tattoo studio, you will have a bandage on your new tattoo to protect it from outside contact. This bandage should be removed 2- 3 hours after getting your tattoo. Your tattoo may bleed a little for the first 24 hours, remember, your new tattoo is akin to an open wound.

Before you remove your bandage, make sure to wash your hands with soap and warm water, in between the fingers, and under the fingernails. Then dry your hands with a clean paper towel. Don’t use any old towel that is laying on it, or possibly a clean towel as lint may be transferred to your hands.

Be sure to have not let a large amount of blood dry on your bandage so that it sticks. Be very, very gentle as you remove your bandage so as not to start the tattoo bleeding again. If you just rip off your bandage, you can mess up the appearance of your new tattoo, and ensure do that, now do you?

Wash your tattoo gently, very gently with anti-bacterial soap and water to clean it. Do not scrub your tattoo, don’t use a washcloth, or anything else other than your fingers or hand to clean the tattoo. Do not rub, but “pat” the tattoo as you wash it. Then, when you are finished pat the tattoo dry with a clean dry paper towel. Or, use clean toilet paper even, without any paper towels on hand.

Let your tattoo air dry for 15 minutes or so. This will promote healing.

After your tattoo has dried, apply a few drops of Emu Oil to your tattoo. The existence of essential fatty acids combined with hyper-oxygenation of Emu Oil naturally increases the circulation to the applied area which explains why Emu Oil works so well and so quickly to heal.

Even though it is an oil, it has been proved that Emu Oil does not clog pores (unlike most commercially made tattoo aftercare products that are petroleum based), therefore allowing the skin to breathe during the healing process. Emu Oil penetrates through all seven layers on the skin and is rich in nutrients (essential fatty acids) that feed the skin to aid in new cell development that can hasten the healing process. Emu Oil is also a natural emollient keeping the skin moist and pliable.

The application of the Emu Oil immediately after the tattoo has been cleaned will also relieve the discomfort and reduce the inflammation and redness of the new tattoo. Emu Oil will help set the new colors due to its deep penetrating properties and will help reduce plasma oozing.

Using Emu Oil 2-3 times a day after repeating the cleaning process while the tattoo heals will keep the area moist reducing or eliminating the flaking or scabbing that often occurs as new tattoos heal. Emu Oil can prevent the need for touch ups which saves the artist money and time, and makes for a happy tattoo customer.

New tattoos will look red and swollen immediately following the tattoo procedure. The tattoo will continue to appear this way a couple of days throughout the tattoo healing process. Within a week to ten days the skin surrounding the tattoo should be more normal again – most tattoos are completely healed in three weeks time.

While it is healing it is necessary not to do these things or you may damage your tattoo:

- Do Not scratch your new tattoo

- Do Not pick at your new tattoo

- Do Not expose your tattoo to sunlight or tanning beds under any circumstances

- No swimming, hot tubs or baths the first two weeks after getting your new tattoo

- Do Not shave the tattooed area for around 30 days following the tattoo procedure

- Only touch your tattoo with clean hands, don’t let others touch your tattoo

Not only is Emu Oil good for healing new tattoos, it’s good for restoring older, aged, sun damaged tattoos as well. This is because the natural hyper-oxygenation of Emu Oil which brings blood and oxygen to the surface of the skin. This, coupled with Emu Oil’s ability to moisturize through all seven layers on the skin, allows users to see quick results when the oil is applied to older tattoos.

With the proper care of your tattoo from the start, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t enjoy the beauty of your tattoo for lifelong.

There are many ways you can rent a movie now. The old way of getting movies was the video sore. A new option is movie downloads from the web. Merely make a few clicks and you will soon be watching one of your favorite films.

Movie download sites that are legal let you burn the downloaded file so that you can have a DVD. The site also has permission from the studios to allow these downloads. Low cost websites are often file sharing sites and can have problems.

One key for assuring that the movie downloads site is of high quality is that they are offering the latest movies. Another is that the procedure for downloading the movies should be easy for the consumers to follow and understand.

People often prefer the use of peer to peer file sharing programs. Examples of these file sharing sites are BitTorrent and Kazaa. Using these types of sites could violate copyright laws. There are many websites now that have this structure and use the file sharing method.

For the viewers to find their movies from the huge selection it is nice if the site will has titles organized by genre and other ways. In that way, it will be easier for users to scan the pages of the website to find movies. Some sites are requiring that download managers will be downloaded so that it will create a queue of your movies. Since this is a program, it will also keep track of the saved files. Video installation is also being required if your computer does not have the appropriate software for watching the downloaded movie.

Movie Capital is one example of website using a membership fee system. Once you join you have unlimited download access to all the movies they offer. This is a user friendly site as well.

A YouTube movie download is legal. They have the approval from the motion picture studios to make the films they offer available for downloading. These “legal” downloads are the ones you should be looking for.

Your entertainment options will increase if you use movie downloads. You will enjoy being able to remain in the comfort of your home to watch movies rather than having to go out to watch or get your movies.

Free Download Advance pc Game avi movie downloads This is opposed to the sites that charge per download and allow for you to rack up quite the large bill in the meantime. The next level down on the booking agency chain is the middle guy.

Until Sunday, it looked as if the return of Brett Favre to the NFL would have a storybook ending and propel the Minnesota Vikings to the Superbowl. Instead, the New Orleans Saints will be heading to the Superbowl for the first time in franchise history. Garrett Hartley nailed a 40 yard field goal in overtime to give the Saints a 31-28 victory in the NFC Championship game after Brett Favre was intercepted deep in Saints territory during the final seconds of regulation. Favre may be headed back to retirement, while the Saints are headed to Miami to play the biggest game of them all.

The Vikings did reward NFL betting fans who took them as +4 underdogs with a pointspread cover. Minnesota finished the season a solid 11-6-1 against the NFL pointspread while the Saints head into the Superbowl with a 9-9 ATS mark. The 59 combined points scored went OVER the posted total of 53′. The Saints went OVER for the second consecutive game after playing four straight UNDER verdicts to close out the regular season.

After the game, head coach Sean Payton drew an analogy to the city of New Orleans’ recovery after Hurricane Katrina:

“This is for everybody in this city. This stadium used to have holes in it and used to be wet. It’s not wet anymore. This is for the city of New Orleans.”

Winning quarterback Drew Brees extended that same metaphor:

“In reality, we had to lean on each other in order to survive and in order to get where we are now. The city is on its way to recovery, and in a lot of ways has come back better than ever. We’ve used the strength and resiliency of our fans to go out and play every Sunday and play with the confidence that we can do it, that we can achieve everything we’ve set out to achieve.”

Place kicker Hartley was low key despite securing the victory with his overtime field goal:

“Just helping my team get to Miami. Just doing my part.”

Brett Favre didn’t have much to say in defeat:

“I’ve felt better. It was a physical game. A lot of hits. You win that and you sure feel a lot better.” Mississippi native Favre did throw his support behind the Saints:

“I would have loved to represent the NFC. But, as I told Sean throughout the year when we talked, if it’s not us, I hope it’s you guys.”

The Vikings gave up a total of five turnovers including three fumbles. That, said running back Adrian Peterson, was the game:

“We really gave those guys the game. Too many turnovers. It’s eating me up inside.
